The University of Montana Entertainment Management (UMEM) students at UM are taking their talents to the international level. Students from the program, along with core instructor Maria Brunner of Insight Management, have been enlisted to help in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help promote the Crossroads Guitar Festival. With the knowledge they have gained through the program and the tutelage of Brunner, members are doing everything from page management on the Festival's website and social media sites to requests for the gift bags that the artists will receive and so much more. As the show nears, the students are getting excited how their work is helping the Crossroads Centre Antigua, a rehabilitation center that is the sole benefactor of proceeds from the festival.
Maria Brunner stopped by on the Trail Morning Show on March 4th to discuss the project....the podcast is at the link below....

It was great squeezing in as many members of Portland Cello Project as we could in the Trail studio this afternoon. Their show tonight (1/28) at the Missoula Winery is SOLD OUT. They recently recorded Beck Hansen's sheet music project "Song Reader" and we heard "Please Leave A Light On When You Go." We were also treated to Adele's "Rolling In The Deep."
