Montana Food Bank Network - The Taste - conversation with Cassidy Green

As of Thursday morning (2/28) there were less than a hundred tickets left for The Taste, the annual fundraiser for the Montana Food Bank Network. The Network's Cassidy Green stopped by The Morning Trail to talk about the March 8th event at Neptune Aviation. Tickets have sold out the last three years running and probably will again this year. Spring World View Film Series: Cultures in Harmony - Udo Fluck - Arts Missoula

Big Sky Jazz Band - Blue Note Cafe

A very impressive upcoming gig for the Big Sky High School Jazz Band. The student musicians will play the Kennedy Center For The Performing Arts in Washington D.C. this April. That, of course, takes money and that, of course, means a fund raiser. Students Sierra Cornwell, Grace Daniel, Ethan Boehner and Hattie Stevens joined me on the Morning Trail Thursday, February 14th to talk about the trip and the Blue Note Cafe.

Chorale Director Dean Peterson

Dean Peterson Chorale Director of the Missoula Symphony and Chorale stopped by the Morning Trail on Monday. We had a chance to talk about the upcoming presentation of Carmina Burana. It will also be the last collaboration with Symphony Director Darko Butorak. If that's not enough, and Lord knows it should be, the presentation is described as celebrating "drinking, gluttony, gambling and lust." Yikes.
